  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. CPA is preferred

  • 10 years of experience in Accounting of which at least 5 years are in managerial position. Previous experience in project related industry is required

  • Responsible for enhancing the transparency and relevancy of financial reporting, in order to ensure that financial statements used for investment decisions are presented fairly and have credibility.

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.

  • Supervises the staff and is responsible for managing the team to ensure that work is properly allocated and completed.

  • Plan, organize and implement accounting operations and objectives; coordinate and integrate all activities towards achieving of established goals and objectives.

  • Supervise, train and evaluate accounting professionals, and support staff.

  • Ensure all functions and programs under charge are performed within established budgetary parameters, to include performing cost control activities, monitoring revenues and expenditures, and ensuring sound fiscal control.

  • Perform highly complex accounting work according to generally accepted accounting principles, established procedures, departmental guidelines, and regulatory requirements applicable to the work.

  • Perform project cost forecasts/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring and controls.

  • Perform cash flow forecasting, budgeting and working closely with the operations and project teams in analyzing margins, variances and cost analysis.

  • Prepare critical fiscal documentation regarding accounting activities, e.g., weekly, monthly and annual reports, draft and revised codes and ordinances.

  • Generate various complex system reports or audits calculations and ensures accuracy, e.g., billing, payroll processing, and accounts payable.

  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts for all funds with assistance from accounting support personnel.

  • Plan, manage, coordinate, and implement the year end closing processes; provide information to financial auditors; conducts standard internal audits of various accounting records.

  • Evaluate receipts, expenditure forms, purchase orders, distributions, and disbursement orders for the purpose of ensuring compliance with established regulatory standards.

  • Perform verification and reconciliation tasks for invoices/receipts/balances according to department checks and balances procedures.

  • Issue project cost reports for review and approval.

  • Support CFO in ensuring that intercompany cost allocations are in line with management agreements and transfer pricing policy

  • Prepare a variety of studies, reports and related information for decision-making purposes.

  • Provide technical accounting support and interpretation to management and employees.

  • Perform related duties as directed.

  • Extensive knowledge of generally accepted standard accounting principles

  • Current knowledge of industry, regulatory and legislative developments affecting accounting and financial reporting functions to ensure application to areas of responsibility.

  • Working experience in Microsoft Dynamics Navision is highly regarded.
